Did You Know?

Actor Robin Williams's daughter was named after a certain Nintendo character...
Robin Williams and daughter Zelda at the 2003 Golden Globes
Renowned actor/comedian Robin Williams's daughter was named Zelda, after none other than the princess of the Nintendo series, The Legend of Zelda.

As it turns out, Williams is actually a big gaming fan, with the Zelda series being one of his favourites ever. He has previously confirmed in an interview that his daughter is indeed named after the video game character, and not after Zelda Fitzgerald.

It appears that Williams had decided that one was enough, however, and ended up naming his second kid Cody rather than Donkey Kong.
