 Not only do GameCube owners get the previously-announced Mario Baseball, but E3 introduces yet another Mario sports game. This time Mario and company take on the biggest ball they've ever had to face in a sports game: the soccer ball (the football for you Europeans!).Much unlike other soccer games on the market, this title mixes the Mario charm and craze we've all come to know and love when it comes to sports games in the Mushroom Kingdom. There will be weapons, such as the ice-cold shell that freezes opponents, the spiny shell that stuns them temporarily, or the classic Chain Chomp character to scare their wits out them. Super Mario Strikers features all the favorite characters from the Nintendo universe. From what we can tell so far from the screenshots and trailer, Mario, Wario, Luigi, Toad, Hammer Bros. and a Kremling from the Donkey Kong series are playable so far.
